Is it possible to restrict the data export in Qlik Cloud ?

Hi, 

I thought the "restricted view" was preventing the users to export data from the applications, but it seems that even people with restricted access can export data to Excel. 

I saw that it was not mentionned in the documentation here.
So I was wondering if it was possible to prevent a limited number of users to download data from the Apps ?

Hi @QuentinBmt 

It is possible to restrict/allow particular user to download the data out of Qlik Cloud using the custom roles. You can build a customer role to allow or restrict user to export the data and add it to the users role in the management console.

Thank you for your answer. This seems to correspond to what I am looking for indeed. 

Unfortunately, I have tried many options to make it work, but I don't seem to be limited in any of the configurations. (See below the configuration)

Hi Quentin, do you still have that issue? In our test, we able to correctly control data/content downloads using custom roles. Which settings did you try using custom roles? Maybe you could provide EN language screenshots so that we can more easily compare.
