Qlik Content Libraries

Hi All,

Greetings of the day!

I am trying to load images in the qlik content library default folder from the server, but it is not coming up in the qlik content libraries.

Only those images come up which I am loading from the frontend (QMC) of qlik content library in QMC.

If I am loading the images from the frontend/UI in the QMC in content libraries, these images are taking some path in server & I am able to use images in my app but I am not able to locate the folder inside the server where these images are getting solved.

My requirement is to connect the content library with some folder, not in my machine/enterprise server where I will add or delete images it will automatically update in a content library default folder. I don't want to use QMC for loading & deleting images in the content library default folder

PFA SS for your reference.

Kindly help me out how can I create or get a pre-built folder inside server where I can store my images & it will come up in content library default folder.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Regards

Hello,

Unfortunately I do not think this is possible.

The reason is because the files in your content library needs to have a matching record in the Qlik Sense database which is created when uploading content from Qlik Sense.

The only way I can think of would be to leverage the QRS API to build a script/application that will automatically upload new content added in a specific directory.

Please take a look at:

Hope this helps!

Hi All,

We can add or delete images in Qlik content libraries without API integration. What we need to do is to add or delete mages manually in the Qlik server in the path as follows:-

StaticContentRoot/content/Default/

Add the images manually in this folder or you can write a script, If required let me know I will share the script for automatically adding or deleting the images from source to destination folder & the image will get added or deleted automatically without accessing QMC.

Do let me know if there are any doubts.
