Qlik Sense Hub stuck on "Opening the Hub"
Hi There,
Anyone else having a similar problem when opening the Qlik Sense Hub externally? All I get is the circles looping and the "Opening the Hub" message on the screen.
Please help?
Regards,
Jack Govender

It may be because the accessing URL must not be on whitelist of your proxy settings.

Thanks.
The accessing URL is not on the whitelist but the server IP address is.
Can that still be a problem?

Yes Jack. IP alone is not sufficient. You need to add the URL which you are trying to access.
Please add that URL in whitelist and this would fix the issue.

Any url, specifically the domain/host name part, that you intend to use to call qlik needs to be listed in the white list - ie if you have other alias's or domain names that redirect to the server needs to be listed....

So I added the URL and still the same thing is happening.
The hub is opening up whilst logging in from the server itself though.
The weird thing is that the QMC link opens just fine externally.

"The weird thing is that the QMC link opens just fine externally."
That makes sense as the qmc isn't affected by the white lists

Hi,
I had the same problem and I think I've found the solution.
I entered the QMC using the https address (which is correct), but by accident I saved the http (without the s) address in my bookmarks for entering the hub. After using the correct address for the hub as well (so with https) it was working fine.
ps. I had already whitelisted the server P-address and severname, so maybe that's also necessary to solve the problem.

May be this:
You can configure an advanced license rule with condition = user.IsAnonymous()
