Qlik Sense Self Service - How to restrict Chart options

Hi,

We want to leverage Self Service BI capability to end user. Can we restrict the number of chart options available to user to create own visualizations?

Example - Can I have end user only access to Bar chart/ line chart /Pi chart  and restrict access to all other charts?

If yes, what will be the approch?

Hi. I have not see this achieved by the standard Qlik Sense Hub interface. Some have done it by building their own interface.  The problem is that the requirement does not match what Qlik have designed.

Qlik have build AI into Qlik Sense to assist users in creating visualisations.  You would not want to restrict the Insight Advisor (in App) from using the most appropriate visualisation.

I would suggest working on a Data Literacy initiative to help the users understand the variety of data visualisation and how to work with them.

But as we want to provide self service with simplified charts options and users are also not trained analysts. So we are looking for this option
