QlikSense Online Backup

Hi All,

I am trying to find a way to backup a QlikSense site (multi-node cluster). 

The help article on Qlik site asks to stop all services, which means to bring down the entire instance for a backup.

The question i have is. If i run a pg_dump when the site is online and create a backup file. Can i use this to restore the site if required. Will this work?

Hello Aadil,

I tried this before its worked for me, but its not a supported way to take backup. If you face a issue you may not get support for it.

Maybe taking backup at the same time while reloading an app cause corruption on it?

You are allow to backup with the environment running, it shouldn't cause any problems.
