Rename custom property value

Is it possible to rename the custom property value without affecting the existing value that has been assigned to various objects/apps/etc?

For example I have 1 custom property "Company". The value is "ABC". But I want to rename it "XYZ". Is it possible to rename without having to re-add "XYZ" to all objects that are previously have value "ABC"?

This is not possible. If you rename XYZ to ABC, whervever you applied XYZ, will be vanished.
