Repository service errors

Hi!
We found a lot of errors in our repository service log

I think Int32 is too little(2Gb) to use it for app size in bytes. (Qlik Sense Aug 2023 )

Hi @BuTbka

On the download site https://community.qlik.com/t5/Download-Qlik-Products/tkb-p/Downloads

you could check the versions, patches and "End of Life" dates of each product.

Yes,  patches are there.

Thanks! But my question is why I can't find anything about resolving this defect on pages like https://community.qlik.com/t5/Release-Notes/Sense-Enterprise-on-Windows-Release-Notes-August-2023-In... ?

Hi @Filippo_Nicolussi_P ,

Does May 2024 IR include the fix for it?

What would be the defect ID for this fix?

Thank you for the information.

We are on Feb 2024 Patch 8 and still getting these errors.  I looked through the release notes for the patches and don't see a released fix yet.  Is there a planned release for this fix?  I would prefer a fix vs turning it off by editing these files on my multi-node environment.

If your system is high loaded I suggest to turn it off.
In our case, disabling it significantly reduced CPU load from repository service process and traffic between the central node and the dedicated repository.

Just to confirm to all that are landing here for the "Failed to get app 'StaticByteSize'. ... "Int32 is too little"  proceed/check article  https://community.qlik.com/t5/Official-Support-Articles/How-to-disable-Base-memory-size-info-and-Sta... for releases fixing with the fix for int32 and the possibility to disable the StaticByteSize calculation.

FWIW, I am seeing this on 2024 February, patch 14 too.

@Filippo_Nicolussi_P  is this on Qlik's radar?
