Upgrading Qlik Sense

Hi community,

I have to upgrade Qlik Sense for a client and I am not sure how the proxy servers work

Qlik Sense is installed in a server (qlik-qws) adn he mentioned if the proxy server need to be updated and he share a server that I was never aware that exist...

I am lost in how to validate and respond to this, can someone guide me on how to check the current  installation, it is Qlik Sense NOV 2019 installed

Hello ,

1. I'm assuming your are talking about Qlik Sense Proxy and Virtual proxies.
2. Those items are configured from within the QMC , each has it's own section on the left hand side of the QMC.

Hey @Ray_Strother ,

thanks for your answer.  I checked and there are 2 Nodes for this client, what I assume is that is a multinode arquitecture, is that correct, right? Is the firs time I see this, do you know how should I upgrade Qlik Sense? 1 server has 5 services and the other has 2

Hello,

1. The upgrade document link walks you thru the upgrades process.

2. You start with the Central node and proceed with the RIM node.
