Hi.
I've installed a Qliksense in a Turkey server which is a replica of another server but with just for the Turkey users. Everything is up and running except one small detail in the users after creating the user directory connector to synchronizing with the Active Directory.
The user directory property of every user loaded is different from the original server and I've used the exactly same connection and LDAP filter in the User Directory connector.
The different is just the simple lower "i" which I'm assuming is a Turkey character. The red box is wrong, the green is right.
All users are loaded correctly but when they login, Qlik doesn't recognize the authentication because of this difference, and adds them as a new user with no AD information and therefore, doesn't apply the security rules already created.
Is this a Qlik issue or can I resolve this issue with some configuration somewhere or is it a server or AD problem ?
I'm thinking there must be something related with the language or regional settings of the server that somehow changes the user directory description but I cannot find any info about this.
This is a critical issue since Qlik is not recognizing none of the users.
Thanks in advanced for the help.
Regards
Hi @fm_seguro,
The User Directory will not be named in Qlik. This is taken from the connection path when configuring the UDC. If the path is not correct, the UDC will not work.
If you try to change it in Qlik Sense, the setup will fail and the UDC will not work. Therefore I think this will need to be configured outside of Sense.

Thanks for the clarification.
I have tried a different path supplied by the Turkish infrastructure support team but it didn't fixed the UD.
They are investigating the problem.
