Avoiding exposure of Qliksense hub url on public internet during integration with Qliksense mobile app.

Hi,

We are planning to enable access of Qlik Sense dashboard on Qlik Sense mobile app for internal employees.
As per security requirements to manage the secure access and also control the configuration policies implementation its integration will be done with Microsoft Intune MDM Platform.

For this set up we are following the below link .

https://help.qlik.com/en-US/sense-admin/February2021/Subsystems/DeployAdministerQSE/Content/Sense_De...

Currently authentication for Qlik Sense Enterprise is done using ON PREMISE active directory.
This AD and Qlik application url so far are accessible only on the internal network.

As per the article mentioned below to allow access on Qlik mobile app it is required that the Qliksense URL is opened for access on public internet which will then require to open the AD link on public internet.

As per the steps once URL is accessible, user is supposed to add the QS server details by opening the QS  link in browser or opening the link provided by admin provided so that server details are added and authentication happens for the first time.

This requirement has security concerns since it exposes the both qlik sense and AD url to public.

To avoid this security concerns what could be the different approaches available to avoid direct exposure qlik sense and AD.

Thanks !

Hi @sudhakar_c . If the connection is routed via the EMM system, there is no need to have the address made publicly accessible on the internet. The URL needs to be accessible via the EMM network, in that case.
