Alternate States

Hi,

I have graphs that I have created and their state is my created "Alternate State". The app is not published as I am new with the company and I have been asked to get used-to Qlik Sense. The problem I have is that when I reload the app, the graphs return to the "default state" and this is in despite of the fact the state the graphs are saved in are in the "Alternate State" (Alternate State stays as the selected state even after reloading the app). Is there something I am not understanding, have I created the states incorrectly? Why do my graphs keep returning back to their normal form when I reopen Qlik Sense.

Many thanks for any advice given. FYI, I am using Qlik Sense Enterprise.

how does you state look like,  can you show a screenshot of your alternate state and how it is configured in the app.

to apply an alternate state, you have to create it first, after that you need to apply it to the objects (chart, filter, etc.) that you wish to use the state on. also (VERY IMPORTANT) on the other chart that you use, you need to select the default state NOT the inherited state (I think this is where the issue is (from reading the problem) )

if this helps please like and accept as answer😀

Hi,

This will retain to default state every time using alternative states you can just compare Set A with Set B
