Hello All,
I have changed service account on Qliksense services to a new userid. Let say intially services were running under: abc\user1, now services are running under abc\user2. My all services after changing service account is UP and running.
I have allocated root admin access to abc\user2. But being a root admin, i am not able to see the applications developed and deployed by initial root admin i.e. abc\user1. Can anyone let me know why is it so, even when abc\user2 has root admin access?
That is correct. Check the security rules and audit option from the qmc that will help to identify the rules that are blocking.
Another option, you can change the owner of the app in qmc to the new user.
Where are they not visible. As a Root Admin you should be able to see all apps in the QMC. In the Hub you will see everything is published that you have access to (If you have set up any security rules to limit access). If you rules have been created to limit stream access you should see all streams and all published apps. You will not see other users apps that are located in their work areas unless you change a security rule to do that.
If I didn't understand your issue let me know more details.
HI Nikhil,
where in the Site are you referring too? In QMC > Apps OR the hub?
Andy
Hey Mark,
Initially my services was running under domain/user1 who was a root admin
as well. I have made some applications in my work and published them and
created some mashups. Now, for some reasons, I need to change my service
account and now my services are running under domain/user2. I have given
him role of root admin. But in my hub, domain/user2(current root admin) can
not see any applications made and published by domain/user1(previous root
admin) . Hope I have made myself clear this time.
Hey Andy,
I am referring to hub. Also, you can refer my response to Mark, that will
give you clear understanding of my issue.

My first question is why did you have to change the service account and exactly what did you do?
All users even if they are not a Root Admin should be able to see all published apps unless you have implemented a security rule to limit access.
Did you make any other changes?
so has the new user got access to the stream they are published in?
Andy
My service account id was getting locked every now and then due to some
external reasons, so we decided to use other service account id. Also, I
have just added second service account id in Qliksense services group and
changed the credentials of every running service. This all I have done.
Nope and also in the work folder no applications visible that were created
by previous root admin. I guess all application made by previous root admin
should be visible to other root admin by default.

Nope. Even the Root Admin does not see other peoples work area apps without changing a security rule.
Any RootAdmin will be able to see all of the apps listed in the QMC/Apps. But not in the hub.
