Good Morning Fellow Qlik Sense users,
I have a set of sellers who have their own customer base, and we are targeting them to increase the number of customers by 10% over the volume they had in the same period 12 months ago.
as an example, Seller 1 had 100 customers in July 2022, for July 2023 the increase would be 10, how could I do this automatically in QLIK to create the target, and then to report out the measure of increase as per the table below
Customer | July-22 Act | July-23 Target Increase | July-23 Act Increase | % of Target |
Seller 1 | 100 | 10 | 7 | 70% |
Many thanks in advance
David
What is the form of your data, and do you want the output to be a table, or something else? Is the month you are checking determined by a variable, or today's date?
Thank you for your reply.
1. Base figure that drives the increase (July-22 Act) is a fixed integer - can be used as either a dimension or measure.
1. The output would be to a table
2. The month that is used to generate increase target is fixed : same month from previous year
