GetSelectedCount Dimenions in Table

Hi guys, I have dimension ( Company-> Brand->PrimaryCategory).

My table is looking:

Im using function =If(GetSelectedCount (Company)>0,Brand)  when I pick some Brand X, the Company column is working good. I've got Brand and all Companies which have this Brand.

When I click Company i want to have only companies which have this Primary Category but the Brand have to stay like i picked before. When I pick some Company the Brand name is filtering again and showing me all brand in company.

Can I stop the Brands changing   after Company picking?

What is the Purpose of Having GetSelectedCount() ? any specific reason?

associated Brand / Category values will naturally show based on relevant selections
