I am not sure what you mean. If you want to filter something, you will need to have a field in your data set that will be filtered. So for each date in your data, you need to do something that converts the date "4/1" into 1, and "4/5" into 3. Then that is the field you would use in the Filter. If you simply create something on the fly that shows 1-22, that is called a Data Island and it wouldn't reduce your data in any way. Meaning if you clicked 3, it would have no idea that you want to limit the data to 4/5/2021.
