Hi Team,
"Qlikview has stopped working" is the message am getting when I am trying to save QVW by loading 6M records. Loading fine, able to work but not saving. It is crashing.
The same QVW is saving properly with 4M records. The size was 1.4 GB.
QV 11 SR9. 128 GB Ram 16 cores.
Please post your suggestions ASAP. Thank You.
We faced this issue in QV11.20 SR9.
We have upgraded to QV11.20 SR12. It is working fine now after upgrade.
Do you have enough space available to save ?
I have 45GB free space.
I am guessing that you are doing this on the server ? If there are any services/process that are running at the same time, you might get this message....
I have tried all basic things.
After I got this message I stopped all services to bring down usage of CPU and RAM to below 10%. Then reload and saved. It did not work.
In one of post it is mentioned to make some selections and save. It did not work.
I changed compression and tried, it did not work.
windows has max limit of 2GB to save file, I think it is causing issue.
someone who has worked on huge data, let me know tips to save the file.
Can anyone tell me what is the maximum size of QVW and amount of data you have worked?
we may receive 30M records from customer but we are not able save even 6M records.
Hi Sai
Maybe try doing a Binary load off the qvw to see if the document with the Binary load will save...
Do you have a -prj folder? If so, rename it (so its no longer associated with the qvw) and try to save again.
we are not using -prj folder.
