Alternate Measure or Alternate Dimension aren't displayed in default view for some chart types

When adding an alternate measure or alternate dimension to Tree map, Box plot, Distribution plot, or Histogram chart types, the newly added measures or dimensions are only visible via the Exploration menu.

This is working as designed. 

To apply an alternative dimension or measure to a Tree map, Box plot, Distribution plot, or Histogram chart object, it must be done via the Exploration menu.  To access the Exploration menu, hover over the chart object (the middle icon), and then select the different dimensions or measures associated with the chart object.

Hello, I see this is also relevant for the Line Chart. Also, the Exploration menu is not available when the Line Chart is within a Container. Is this not working by design? Can that be changed? Thank you!

Hi,

Unfortunately is available only in exploration tab. As an alternative solution I used the inline method to get as filtering the dimensions I need and when I select to each of these selection it apply the field I need. 

For my example I had 5 dimensions for calendar (Daily,Weekly,Monthly...) and when I select one of them it apply the appropriate values.
