If you see the message in the Replicate log like this:
[SOURCE_CAPTURE ]T: Failure validating initial LSN '00000014:00000061:0002' 'anywhere existance'. Found nowhere.
This could be that your LSN is already archived.
Options:
- Try to have DBA restore the LSN
- If not able to restore , you will have to reload the task.
Additional Note:
For 2021.11sp05 (2021.11.349) , there was an issue where LSN values on a secondary replica in an AlwaysOn environment could not be located. This was producing an error message like above.
This has been fixed in 2021.11sp05 (2021.11.469).
