SharePoint is an online portal that can be used to store and share files.
When trying to create a data connection to SharePoint from Qlik Sense to fetch data from a file, you may experience connection errors due to permission on the Sharepoint server.
You will need to consider the options below:
Depending on the authentication method applied, the first option would be to add the Qlik system service account to the site permissions on SharePoint.
Alternatively, data can be fetched for example from an excel file that is placed on SharePoint.

Note: These connection types may only be valid for SharePoint versions 2010 or 2013, and are not supported for 365. APIs are used in SharePoint 365 and best practice is to use Qlik Wed Connectors as mentioned below.
