It is possible to use multiple Windows Operating System Locales, Regions and Format per region and locale with NPrinting as shown below?
Unfortunately, this is not possible as NPrinting utilizes the current locale, regional and administrative settings upon the Windows server it is installed upon. Effectively this is a windows constraint. Note: these settings should be the same for the NPrinting Server and each attached NPrinting Engine.
You may wish to add an additional NPrinting Server/Engine Deployment for the additional region that you wish to serve in order to meet local/regional formatting requirements.
Alternatively, changing the system locale manually before sending reports to specific 'locale' or 'region' may also work. Note: Windows may require a system reboot before these settings take effect.
On the other hand, you may wish to leverage MS excel tools if developing MS excel report to 'Substitute' formatting that you require. This is an advanced 'custom' Microsoft solution that can be used within the designer and may be utilized at your discretion. As you can see in the image below, it does work. (Note: Expand range must be disabled on the chart and use custom rows)
Cell code used:
=SUBSTITUTE(SUBSTITUTE(SUBSTITUTE(FIXED(B:B,FALSE),".","$"),",","."),"$",",")
Just hide column B before previewing to show only the EU formatted output

Finally, in case you would like to adjust a Decimal or Thousand separators of your MS Excel report, you may untick the "Use system separators" setting in the Advanced options of Excel. This way you can choose a particular type of separator for your MS Excel report.
Do you have an idea for NPrinting that might be useful for all? Please post your idea here:
