This article is outdated, please see the latest coverage under release notes.

For example, the coverage for May 2024:

https://community.qlik.com/t5/Release-Notes/Qlik-GeoAnalytics-Coverage-24-05-May-2024/ta-p/2463541

(The current coverage of the built in location database in Qlik GeoAnalytics and Qlik Sense native mapchart. See attachments for an overview description and table with content per country.)

It would be really helpfull to have a catalogue of all data instead of a descriptive explanation of the content available.

For instance something like Spotzi does

Datashop Catalogue: All Location Data in 1 Database - Spotzi

https://www.spotzi.com/en/maps/by-country/maps-data-the-netherlands/#postal-codes

Don't even have to be full interactive maps, a image of the dataset would do juist fine.

Hi Paul,

Thanks for the suggestion, we have added such table with content per country, without images to start with.

Thanks,

Patric

Hi Barry,

For GB except Northern Ireland, the Postal Areas, Districts and Sectors are available as areas.

Thanks,

Hi Patrick,

Two questions:

1. Do you have an up-to-date overview of the coverage for lookups with GeoAnalytics?

2. Can you provide details about the frequency with wich areas are updates in the geo database?

Thanks,

Steven

Check the zip file above ^^, that includes a ppt and a pdf with a table with info per country.

We aim to deliver a new distribution twice a year.

Thanks,

Patric

Unfortunattely only the levels Adm1 and Postcode are available (areas).

Must say that i'm kind of disappointed by the slow rate this is being updated.

@jamespslab

How do you mean, for which country? If you check out the table^^^  you can see the coverage of adm1, adm2, adm3 and zip code area boundaries for 2,3,4,5,6 digits.

Thanks,

Patric

Hello @Patric_Nordstrom ,

I have issues to find some districts/counties in Austria. For example, for districts Linz and Steyr I get an 'Unsuccessful location lookup'.

My question, do you have an overview which districts/counties can be looked-up in GeoAnalytics? Maybe the naming of these two districts is special.

Thank you. Best regards, Patrick
