Qlik Replicate Primary key with NULL values in CT tables due to Oracle October 2023 patch

When Qlik Replicate runs in CDC mode and CT tables are enabled, primary keys are replicated as null values in the CT tables.

Base tables are not affected by this.

The Oracle patch from the 19th of October 2023 changed the redo log format around how they log before images. Qlik has issued a patch (2023.5 SP5) to read the new format correctly.

Resolution

A fix has been provided in Qlik Replicate 2023.5 SP5 and 2023.11 SP1.

Download and install one of the provided patches:

Hi,

Could we anticipate that this subject has been resolved in version November 2023 SR2 (2023.11.0.468)?

Hello Ibrahim, @ibrahim_sandalli

Qlik Replicate patches are accumulative , all previous fixes will be included in a newer build.

In you case, as the fix was introduced in 2023.11 SP1, it will be included in 2023.11 SP2 too.

BTW, if you are planning to upgrade Qlik Replicate, we'd like suggest you to upgrade to the latest build, the latest build for 2023.11 is SP4:

Hope this helps.

John.
