Qlik Replicate tasks crash due to changes to the redo log format after installing Oracle July 2024 patch on Oracle 19

Qlik Replicate tasks using Oracle as a Source Endpoint fail after installing the Oracle July 2024 patch. 

All Qlik Replicate versions older than the 2024.5 SP03 release are affected.

Environment

• Qlik Replicate 2024.5 SP02 and below
• Oracle Source Endpoint with Oracle 2024 July patch (version 19.24)

Resolution

Upgrade to Qlik Replicate 2023.11 SP05, or 2024.5 SP03 or later.

Cause

The Oracle July 2024 patch introduced a change to redo events. Qlik has since provided a fix for Qlik Replicate which parses the redo log correctly.

Thanks for that but I was referring to the patch SP05 download link for May 2023 SR1.

You mentioned in earlier in the thread that you’d make the download links for the patches for Replicate 2023.5/2023.11/2024.5 from R&D.

But so far you’ve only provided the patch download links for 2024.5 and 2023.11 but not for 2023.5.
