This article gives an overview of which SalesForce ports and address needs to be set up to establish a connection using the Salesforce connector.

 

Environment:

QlikView 
Qlik Sense Enterprise on Windows 


In order to allow successful communication between the host and Salesforce the following ports/hosts must be allowed in the firewall/proxy:

Allowed hosts:

  • *.salesforce.com
  • *.verisign.com


Allowed ports:

For security reasons, Salesforce restricts the outbound ports you may specify to one of the following:

  • Destination port 80: This port only accepts HTTP connections.
  • Destination port 443: This port only accepts HTTPS connections.
  • Source port: 1024–66535 (inclusive): These ports accept HTTP or HTTPS connections.
