Thank you for the clarification. This means that if a customer wants to expand their existing purchase or rental license or if they want to continue maintenance / rental, this is possible. Only new customers no longer have a chance to get their own QlikView license, except as an addon to Qlik Sense right?
Hi,
Is this still accurate for 12.7?
12.70 (May 2022) | May 10, 2022 | May 10, 2024 |
We have a warning on our QMC stating that 'The Support of This Product Expired 12/31/2023'.
Thank you.
Hello @spring101
This message is referring to your Support agreement. This means that your current license was only valid until the 31st of December of last year.
If you have not renewed your maintenance contract, this is expected and working as designed. Your Qlik environment can no longer be upgraded at this point to versions released beyond this date and it is no longer covered by Qlik Support.
See the following articles for more information:
Unable to update license information or Product Expired: Expired PRODUCTLEVEL tag in License Enabler...
How to check Product Support/Maintenance Contract End date (Legacy LEF license)
For information on how to update your license, see, How to License a QlikView Server or Update the License.
All the best,
Sonja
hi there, im not a Qlik user but am trying to help a colleague who is. A recent middleware upgrade saw servers hosting QLik scheduler software impacted by a move form TLS 1 t.0o TLS 1.2. Do you have an interoperability matrix which shows which versions of the various QV landscape are interoperable with which versions of the hosting software QV relies on? My colleague is using an old version 12.4 but Im not sure at the mo if this Version number is for the client software modules on his local build only . I plan to dig into this further to understand if the scheduler and other server level components may have other versions but in the meantime am hoping you have, or could point me at a matrix which shows all dependences of all the components making up the on premise QV offering?
Hello @MartyG
Each supported QlikView version has a list of System Requirements. They can be found here (I have selected the latest version of QlikView in this instance).
12.40 is no longer supported. An upgrade would be advised.
For TLS we have a matrix available: Supported TLS and SSL Protocols and Ciphers.
All the best,
Sonja
Hi @Michael_Duval ,
Do you know when the next version release is planned? Maybe during May 24' ?
Thanks
Is there a plan for a May 2024 QlikView release? We are nearing the end of the month and there is some concern that without a new release, all versions will be out of support in 12 months. Please advise on the roadmap and plan for QlikView support.
Thanks!
Hello @bfielding
I believe QlikView 12.90 (May 2024) was released today (just now, I think?).
All the best,
Sonja
Hi @Sonja_Bauernfeind , I don't see any notice about a QV May 2024 release today. Maybe I missed it? Can you please share a link to this notice? Thanks. Regards, Beverly
