As an ongoing initiative to provide support to Qlik Partners, the academic program has introduced Universities and Institutions enrolled into the academic program with Partners. Partners such as Gain Insights, Polestar, Finesse found this support quite useful to boost their recruitment efforts for students skilled in Qlik technologies. For Partners, they benefit by getting access to trained resources and deploy them on projects immediately.
For Universities too, this is a welcome initiative since they are able to connect their students with prospective employers. Students in more than 150 Universities and colleges in India have been using academic program resources such as QCC, qualification exams to boost their career prospects.
Demand for those trained in data analytics is rising and there is a growing need for trained resources globally. The Qlik Academic Program has strengthened its engagement with Karpagam College of Engineering based in Coimbatore in India. Their Data Science and Analytics Centre has been active in imparting its students analytics knowledge and access to modern technologies and tools. The students have also been appearing and successfully completed the qualification exam offered by the Qlik Academic Program. In fact, 30 students have completed the business analyst qualification exam. Professor Manikandan Sundaram who leads the Data Science and Analytics Centre found the QCC quite useful to impart students data analytics knowledge .
