[Qlik Cloud] Can't send email through automation neither with gmail or hotmail

Hi all

Is someone here already succeeded to send email through Qlik Cloud Automation ? Because it makes days I try and the only thing I can generate are errors message... What are the good options with hotmail or gmail ?  I tried each time both SSL / StartTLS without any change.

As suggested, I tried to purge web browser cache without more success. If someone has an idea... Thank you in advance...

Unfortunatly, I hade already seen this post (and some others) with the famous app password which is involved and which has been deprecated by Google 2 years ago. So it can't be used any more 😞

"Note: Google has deprecated app passwords & less secure app access for personal accounts since May 2022. This deadline does not apply for Google Workspace or Google Cloud Identity customers, these account types have a later deadline that is not yet communicated. (source)"

Personal accounts are not accepted.

App passwords are usually used with two-factor authentication, using a business account, in my case, I use Google and create a password for an insecure app for connection. In automation, use it with the send block, as well mentioned in the steps.

This works very well, if your case is specific, I suggest then contacting Qlik for assistance.

Thank you. In fact, I used a personal google mail account, not a business one. And what about microsoft account I have the same issue with ?

Yes, maybe the good solution is to see with Qlik Technical support
