Evaluate App from Automations

Hello all

I want to know how I enable users to this automation https://community.qlik.com/t5/Official-Support-Articles/How-to-do-an-app-evaluation-in-Qlik-Applicat...

But my user getting this error:

What kind of access I need to  give him to be able to do this, he is trying to evaluate app in one Private space.

What is a private space? (type)

I assume this has to do with the user that is running the automation is that user a part of the space that, that app is in? and does that user have permissions in that space?

sorry it's a  Managed space 
He part of the Space, but he can't evaluate the app.

What are that users permissions for that space? and general permissions?

We can use me as example

I'm administrator, Server and Space and i not able to see the option and get the same error

Hi @TcnCunha_M , 

If i am not mistaken resolution was that

"It is not possible to evaluate performance of apps that are distributed from Qlik Sense Enterprise on Windows."

As a workaround, you can perform the evaluation on copy of the app that you manually upload: export the app from Qlik Sense Enterprise on Windows to your drive, upload it manually to Qlik cloud on the hub and perform the evaluation on that copy.

I'm sorry, but this resolution seems like a  barely designed workaround.

Why should I go through this process when there's an automatic distribution in place? If I want to evaluate an application that has already been distributed from the Enterprise to the cloud, I assume it's already a cloud application.

I have 200 apps. Are you telling me that I have to manually upload and evaluate each one of them every time?

I can reproduce the issue when trying to use "Do Evaluation" block for an app in managed space by a user who is a member of the managed space.

Let me further investigate on this and I will get back to you.

it seems like there is a limitation and I have to do this manually in my 200 apps, somehow, there is no way Qlik could do something for us, because we in the process or moving to the cloud and the first step we are going is to distribute the apps on the cloud, so the business can have a look and fill about SaaS powers, but of course, not all the apps are well designed that's is where do evaluation enter into place to support us in the migration
