Qlik Fix: How to use Dynamic Bookmarks

Take your bookmarks to the next level! This video will demonstrate how to use Dynamic Bookmarks, such as a "Max Year" bookmark that will always return the most recent year in the field.

Hi and welcome to Qlik Fix 

This video would demonstrate How to use Dynamic Bookmarks

This particular bookmark will be for the current Max Year

We will need to use a search expression in the lower right-hand corner

With this expression the Bookmark will always return the most recent year

in the field.

It is important to press enter to execute the expression now we can create the "Max

Year" bookmark.

"Select create bookmark"

Change the title to "Max year" and create

You can apply the bookmark "Max Year" from your

bookmarks.

And even as new data is added the bookmark adjusts and returns the

current Max year
