CC'd and BCC'd users receive repetitive emails

Hello,

I've come across a strange issue with the email distribution. I have a daily update email sent to a group of users that are included in the 'To' section of the report. These users receive the same email to make them aware of any new requests raised. Additionally, the senior manager is supposed to receive this very email but as a CC'd recipient. 

 

My problem is, suppose 5 users are selected and the manager's email is hard coded in the CC section. When the report is run the manager will receive the same email 5 times! I'm guessing NPrinting takes each user at a time and sends the email resulting in this repetition.

 

Can we ensure that a CC'd or BCC'd recipient receives a given email only once regardless of the number of users selected?

I believe it depends if you have recipient filters applied. If you do - then NPrinting generates for each user separate report (as it is possible that it needs to be differently filtered report) and therefore it needs to send different CC email since it can contain different report for each user. 

So if your intend is to send the same report to all users and one Carbon Copy then make sure there are no recipient filters.

Lech is right. In fact it does not matter if you have recipient filters applied or not, the fact that you can (and in my experience most do) necessarily requires NPrinting to send out separate emails for each recipient.
