Default Destination Folder

Hi,

We have a requirement to setup a default folder which will be destination folder for multiple reports (generated based on different Qlik apps).

So instead of creating multiple destination folders for each app. Is it possible to create a folder without choosing the app.

I see that in the Publish Task--> Destination tab, it seem I can only see the folder if it is linked to the App.

How can a set a common designation folder that can you used by Publish Tasks belonging to different apps.

Thanks

You have to create a 'folder' in each app.

You could create a service account user with privileges to use all apps and add a hard coded folder to the user/folder properties. Then, on the folder for each app, you can reference the same user folder. If the service account user is added to the task, it will always point to the same folder.
