Delay object output to anticipate slow object rendering

Hi,

Is it possible to delay the moment NPrinting starts generating the output for an object by x amount of seconds.
Can I adjust a setting like this somewhere in the config files?

Some objects need a longer time to render/load and maybe I can give them this extra time by manually delaying the time when the output starts?
For example third-party extensions that don't send a "finished rendering" notification, geoAnalytics maps,...

Other suggestions to achieve this are also welcome 🙂

Hi,

no it is not possible and it could impact performance of the whole setup. 

NPrinting is using a flag which should be implemented on Qlik Sense objects . All details here:

So do you by any change have another work-around to implement QS objects that don't have the "finished rendering" flag?
Like f.ex. geoanlytics maps.

I think in theory it would be possible to delay the output start from NPrinting.
Of course like you said, this would have a negative impact on performance and report generation time.
But it's a trade-off I would be happy to make if it means I can use f.ex. geoanlytics maps in my report.
