Formatting word document Nprinting

Hi,
I have a table in Qlik Sense with numbers that have a red or green color for negative or positive figures, respectively. This needs to be distributed in a Word-report via nPrinting.

I want to use Word-formatting for the numbers, but keep the colors from Qlik. I can't fit the table within the frame of the report using an image or cell with source format from Qlik in nPrinting, as it has too many colums. I have also tried conditional formatting or setting up a macro in nPrinting Designer without any luck.

Is there anyone that knows how to do this?

 Thanks,
Harald

Hello Harald,

Quick question, have you tried using the "Keep Source Formats" option?

  1. In the Template Editor, click the object that you just added.
  2. In the Properties window, is the Keep Source Format checked?

You can also get your table to "AutoFit" columns by doing the following:

  1. Select the Layout tab in the Table Tools section of the toolbar.
  2. Click AutoFit in the Cell Size section of the toolbar.
  3. Select AutoFit Contents.

Please let me know if this has helped with what you are trying to accomplish.

Eva

Hi,

Yes, I`ve tried both these solutions. Unfortunately the table is too wide for the word document if the Keep Source Format is checked. The same is the cause for the AutoFit-option.

Thanks,

Harald
