Hi everyone,
We are currently using NPrinting February 2018 and want to export a simple Straight Table from a Qlik Sense App to a .CSV - File via NPrinting. How is this possible? I do not see any Option in the NPrinting Console. Can anybody help me?
Hi,
At the moment (April 2018) the only type of report that have CSV as output format in Qlik NPrinting 17+ is the QlikEntity reports. You can create QlikEntity reports only from QlikView connections so you cannot export a Qlik Sense table directly to CSV.
The workaround at the moment could be to create an Excel report then manually open it and save as CSV.
Best Regards,
Ruggero

Hi Ruggero,
Thank you very much for your reply.
Thats unfortunate.
I dont get it, why i can not produce a CSV out of a Qlik Sense Applikation, but it works for QlikView.
When we bought NPrinting , we thougt that this would be possible with QlikSense.
If you hear something about a update, please inform me , that would be great.
kind regards
simon
If you want to send out (simple) CSV files you can use the store function in Sense and then just use the Notification Connector with the stored CSV as an attachment. Hope this will work for you as a work around.
Hi Bram,
In our case, this would not deliver the desired output:
Scenario:
We build a datamodel and master items (KPIs)
Then we build a report in the QlikSense Applikation with e.g 3 Dimensionen 10 KPIs.
Now we want simply to export this table via nprinting .CSV.
I can not STORE one single table in the script, because the Dimensionen and KPis of the report come from different tables in the datamodel.
But thank you very much for your idea.
kind regards
Ah thats too bad.
If you really need a CSV and not Excel you might be able to recreate the table in the load script and use this work around. Would be some work but should be able to.
Anyways goodluck and hopefully you can find a way to get what you want soon.
