Hi Experts,
I need to export Bar chart with scroll bar with all the values dynamically in NPrinting . The problem is NPrinting will capture Bar chart as an image. if its a straight table NPrinting will shrike or increase the chart based on the data, do we have any such feature for the bar chart also .

I see your point - I thought it was a bar or line chart. Is it possible to size it on a tab in Qlikview without scroll bars, even if you have to place it on a tab of its own? If you can do that, then you can use that object without scroll bars as the image and use the NPrinting properties to adjust the size on the report itself, and then hide the tab so the user is not aware of any changes on their end
Presentation->enable X axis scroll bar
and put the value as per your chart
Hi Deepak,
Thanks for your reply but requirement is in the NPrinting do we have the option for the auto adjust of the height ? so that if my chart has 10 or 1 values its height will get adjusted automatically .
Hi Avinash,
I have no idea about n printing but qlikviw sets chart values on y axis dynamically when you can put the chart in smaller view in larger view it can again adjust automatically.
I do not think so there is such kind of option is available may be other experts can suggest you better option for this.
Thanks
ya, Deepak I know this . Lets see any other has the solution for this
Hi Avinash,
I don't think it is possible in Nprinting, since Nprinting capture charts as image. You can try pasting the chart as object into excel or ppt. In this case you will get the exact functionality as QV.

Hi Jyothish,
Thanks for your inputs. The problem is NPrinting will to allow to build a template of excel or word with direct coping of the object ...First we need to import the object to NPrinting and then we need to play around that .. let me try some other approach
Hi Avinash,
Yes, that true. But Nprinting doesn't allow dynamic feature to charts. (as per my knowledge). Just simply try to drag and drop the chart from QV to a word or excel file. It will copy the exact object in to word with dynamic functionality.

I read through the thread and it is correct that you caonnot export a bar chart and get the entire chart if there are scroll bars since the chart comes into nprinting as an image.
What you will need to do is bring it in as a table or have a version of it as a table and then once in a table format in the excel tempalte, there are steps to get it converted to a chart.
Currently there are issues with the Help for NPrinting and I cannot send you the link but there is a help topic about making excel charts

check out this tutorial - this would give you the bar chart based on the data in QlikView
