Is Nprinting Help Page actually showing correct information?

We are using Nprinting 17.0.  I am currently creating a report which I would like to use tables from 2 documents. 

The help page Says the following:

From googling, it seems this was possible in Nprinting 16 but when I try and follow the above steps, it doesnt seem possible as there is no drop down on the Connections to get to another application.  Is the Help Page out of date?

Have you created connections to both documents in NPrinting? Are they part of the same NPrinting app?

Thanks Stephen,

They were set up to 2 separate apps with 2 connections.

I have set them up to 1 app and this allows you to drop down now and I can select items from different connections. Thank you!
