How do we export an NPrinting "Project" from a Development Server to a Production Server in v17? Both servers running the same version of NPrinting v17.3 By "export" and "project" I am referring to the Ap, Connection, Tasks, Triggers, Template, and Report. The same as an .nsq in v16 and prior. Is this possible in v17?
Short answer is: NO. It is currently not supported.
You can however migrate wholer repository (inlcuding All apps, all connections etc.)
This is described well in help document.

Thank you for the confirmation. We have customers that are developing nPrinting reports on a "Dev" server then want to migrate completed work to a "Prod" server. At the moment, this process requires a rebuild of all that is in Dev. Do you know of any plans to enable the promotion of a single report project from one server to another, similar to using an .nsq in earlier versions of nPrinting?
I am in the same position with my clients. In terms of plans to enable single project migration - there are unofficial information that this funcionality is on NPrinting roadmap, but has no planned release date.

I certainly hope is added. Some reports are quite elaborate. The build taking many hours to complete. The inability to migrate a single report is quite disappointing for customers that want to keep development separate from production.
I never understood why everything must be in one repository...
This option is scheduled for the next release (Sept 2017) and is available as a Beta:

Keep in mind that feature in Sep Release allows you only to migrate report!
It does not cover project migration which would include entities like app, connections, filters etc...

Actually, I was under impression (after watching the second video in the article) that this feature exports/imports not only "report". They are talking about migrating few other things, including Filters and App's references...
From release notes: "Exported compressed files contain also the other information related to the report like users and filters."
Would be nice to check the final version....

It holds information what objects are used in report (filters etc..) but it does not migrate those objects...
Steps i have done to show this:

hope this is now clearer for you.
