We are having an issue editing a template report, when we go to open a excel edit template report the pop up states that it is Version May 2021 SR4, even though the version I have installed on my system in May 2022.
Any idea what is happening?

You must be sure that all components of Qlik NPrinting (Server, Engine and Designer) are aligned at exactly the same version. It seems that you are using components of different versions at the same time.

Are you opening the Designer in the Server by logging via RDP? In other words, are you developing templates directly in the Server?
The Designer is installed in the local machine you are using when you click on Edit Template.

I have installed a different version in my computer than the server.. I will install the correct one in my pc and hope this fix the issue
