I cannot figure out what is wrong with my filters. I have a list of 10 recipient emails and I want each to only receive their relevant information (Filter on a field called CCG). The recipients are all added with the filters for each specified but each recipient receives each multiple reports for each filter. I've tried the filters at the Task and Report levels with no change. What am I missing?
In that case, remove BOTH the CCG page from the template and the cycle from the report. You only need recipient filters to accomplish this.
Do you have "Verify filter" selected for each of the filters?
Yes
Can you provide a sample of the syntax for the filter? Either thru a screenshot of the filter or copying and pasting from the recipient import file?
There is no recipient import file. I just manually added the addresses.
The filters are in this format: GOVERNING_CCG (Verify Filter) = {Cardiology}
I believe it's correct to apply them at the recipient level but they don't seem to take.
Might be a silly question but do you have the (Verify Filter) part in the text for the value, or simply selected in the checkboxes in the filter pane?
It's just selected in the check box and when I hover over the description, it shows up.
I think I may have figured it out... Checking now.
Edit: Nope - each receipient is still getting all reports instead of just theirs.
Can you send a screenshot of one of the filters in the filter pane?
If you want the recipient to receive ONLY one of those values then you need to set up three different filters, each one containing only one of the field values shown.
The way that the filter is constructed right now, each recipient who has the filter applied will receive reports for Cardiology, General Surgery and Hospital Medicine. Is that the intent?
