Hello Qlik friends,
i installed Qlik NPrinting 17.2 on the server \\server004\
and
Qlik Sense 3.1 on the server \\server003\.
I would like to create a connection between Qlik Sense and Qlik NPrinting, but I get the error:
"Something went wrong with the current operation."
Every services is running, but I am not able to create a connection in Qlik NPrinting. Do you know a solution?
Thank you very much.
Hello sjw,
i read the Logging ‒ Qlik NPrinting. I couldn't find my trouble. I have 5 log files, all of them are 10 MB.
The nprinting_scheduler.log files have all the same information.
Product Assembly Name | Product Version | Class Name | Timestamp | Severity | Hostname | Message |
Qlik.NPrinting.Scheduler | 17.2.0.0 | Qlik.NPrinting.Scheduler.SchedulerCore | 20161014T080155.166-07:00 | WARN | GVSVC004 | There are no engines online. |
Qlik.NPrinting.Scheduler | 17.2.0.0 | Qlik.NPrinting.Scheduler.SchedulerCore | 20161014T080200.348-07:00 | WARN | GVSVC004 | There are no enginesonline. |
Hopefully, I send you the right information. The Severity is WARN and Message is "There are no engines online.".
I only use Qlik Sense and Qlik NPrinting. Qlik Sense is on a other server and Qlik NPrinting is on a other server installed.
For you help, thank you very much.
Best regards,

Did you just install the NPrintingServer, not NPrinting Engine when you "installed Qlik NPrinting Server 17.2.0 on \\server004\."???
You need to install QlikNPrintingEngine_x64.exe. After that you will see a Qlik NPrinting Engine service.
And you need to set up the engine and make sure it is online first before you do other settings in NPrinting.
Hope this can solve your problem.
Cheers
Fei
