NPrinting 17.5 - Publish task is creating multiple report copies

I have a NP Publish Task that runs a report daily (a simple xls report) and distributes it to a folder only, not emailed nor to the NewsStand.  On occasion the task will generate 2-3 copies of the same report in the folder.  Does anyone why this happening?  I know NP is still buggy because I'm having issues with all of my NP publish tasks not running consistently.  Thanks.

Hi Kris,

You probably run the same report to many people(users/recipients) - check the list of recipients in publish task.

If you run it only to destination folder you only need 1 recipient there.

Otherwise NPrinitng needs to create this report for every user from the list.

I also suggest you to upgrade to version February 2018 - it is very stable for me.

Can't believe I didn't think of that.  I'll make that change and see how it goes.  It is still odd that it didn't didn't generate multiple copies every day it ran, however.  In fact, it hardly ever generates multiple copies.  Oh well....  Thanks.

I think it did generate multiple copies, but since they having the same names they were overwritten and you only saw the last one.
