Hello,
With NPrinting 17 if I want to send an e-mail to users with their data, do I need to import each user into NPrinting or is there a way to send the report to the user if I have the username and e-mail in my Qlik sense app.
I assume that I will have to create an import task to import the users with their filters into NPrinting. I just wanted to confirm this is the best way.
Thank You,
You'll have to run an import task or build them manually.
We're working on user management in general and the concept of a platform user.
Suggestions on how you'd like to see user management improved across the qlik platform?

Thanks Aran,
The import will work.
Has anyone suggested reading the username and email dynamically from the Qlik Document?
Michael
Accessing the QlikView and Sense users directly is something we're thinking about.
Best
Aran
What could be done is create a table in Qlik with the username and e-mail. Link this table to the data model.
NPrinting can then select each username. If there is data available for the user then the report can be sent. If no data is available then the report is not sent.
I was thinking that some companies can have thousands of potential users but only a few that need the report.
Best Wishes!
Michael
Mstoler, how is that done? How do I set that up on the NPrinting side?
Hi @chadwatson
Open new conversation. This one here is too old to discuss such functionality as the version differences since 2017 are too large.
thanks
