Hi,
When I set up a Publish Task in NPrinting 17, it allows me to change the sender email that the recipient gets the email from.
This works fine and it even shows the picture of the sender, but it shows the email as fred.smith@company.com and not the friendly name Fred Smith which it would if he sent an email directly.
Is this a setting that can be changed in NPrinting?
Chris
Hi,
There is not a filed to customize the recipient name in Qlik NPrinting. I think you need to check if your email client will retrieve and show the recipient name when it is stored in the address book.
Best Regards,
Ruggero

Hi Ruggero,
Sorry not the recipient name, I mean the sender email address who the recipients get the emails from.
I can set up the emails to look like they come directly from me, but they show as chris.wain@.. not Chris Wain like emails I send directly.
Chris
Hi,
Sorry, my explanation is not clear.
In Qlik NPrinting there is not an option to set the name of the sender, the name related to the default or the custom sender address. So I suggest you to try to store that sender email address in the recipient address book to check if the email client is able to decode and display the name you want.
Best Regards,
Ruggero

Hi Ruggero,
The senders I have tried are already in the recipient address book, so it must not be possible.
Thanks anyway.
