NPrinting Designer May 2022 SR4 NPrinting.tlb file mod date

I wanted to check to make sure this file did not get deprecated - since I don't know what it does.   In May 2021 SR4 of NPrinting Designer the file NPrinting.tlb has a modified date of 3/4/2022 which matches the created date in About when you are in the Designer client.

NPrinting Designer May 2022 SR4 the file NPrinting.tlb has a modified date of 2/24/2022 which does not match the created date 2/9/2023 in About when you are in the Designer client. In fact, the mod date is older than the date on the same file contained in the previous version of NPrinting Designer.

Maybe it is a nothing file - but I don't want to make assumptions.  If someone gets a good laugh out of this question,  I don't mind.  If it could be an issue ... I want to know since we are about to upgrade to May 2022 SR4.

Hi,

It is not a problem. If you want to be sure you have the correct file, you can uninstall the Designer, check that the installation folder is clean, and install it again. May 2022 SR5 has the same .tlb file.

Best Regards,

Ruggero

Hi,

It is a Type Library, and we recreate it only when there are changes. Keep that file where it is.

If you install the Designer on a clean PC you will see that the NPrinting.tlb file will be present in the folder.

Ruggero

Thanks for the reply.  My point is that the modification date on the NPrinting.tlb file in the prev version of NPrinting Designer (May 2021 SR4 21.14.8.0) is a more recent date than the modification date on NPrinting.tlb file in the latest version of NPrinting Designer (May 2022 SR4 22.15.14.0)  - is that a concern?
