I am working with a client who is asking whether then can publish thousands of reports in Qlik NPrinting #Newsstand. Has anyone had experience of publishing these kinds of numbers of report
I had client who was doing huge numbers of reports without issues.. I did not reach any limit.
The only limitation you have to consider is disk space of C drive on NPrinting server and size of any backup of NPrinting repository. With such huge number of reports you must consider that.
I would also clarify what does that mean: client who is asking whether then can publish thousands of reports in Qlik NPrinting #Newsstand...
Example:
I would discuss with client reasons behind the need of publishing it all to news stand. I dont believe thousands of reports can be easily accessed from news stand. So depending on the reasons you may want to suggest folder destionation of file share.
It all depends on the scenario and use case.
I find it difficult to believe that news stand can be utilized in such manner that you would need to fill it up with such large number of reports. I guess it all should be discussed and all pros and cons should be layed out.
