Hi,
I am getting the 'No Connection with NPrinting server' error when trying to access NPrinting On-Demand via the QlikView Access Point. The below section in the troubleshooting help states that we need to log into the Nprinting web console and accept a certificate. However, when I login to the web console, I do not see an option to accept a certificate. Would anyone know where I can get this certificate from?
Thanks
I installed the On-Demand and configured On-Demand settings on the Qlik NPrinting Server. When I click On-Demand in the QlikView Access Point, I get the error message "No connection with NPrinting server. Please check your network settings or contact the administrator."
Possible cause
The Qlik NPrinting Web Console is not trusted. After installing On-Demand, you must log into the Qlik NPrinting Web Console using the Qlik NPrinting services Window domain user and accept the certificate in order to make the Qlik NPrinting Web Console trusted.
Proposed action
Log into the Qlik NPrinting Web Console using the Qlik NPrinting services Window domain user and accept the certificate.
I am having the same issue.. Is it really nessesary to have an installed certificate?
I just ran into this today as well as I'm trying to get my extranet Access Point to work with On Demand. Can anyone offer any guidance? In fact, I get 3 different responses based on the browser I am using.
1) IE - error 403 user has no rights to access the resource
2) Chrome - Create one in NPrinting or make sure you have access rights
3) Firefox - No connection with NPrinting server. Please check your network settings or contact the administrator.
Thanks.
I've also having the same issue now. Anyone found a solution?
Kind regards,
R
Hi,
I actually got it to work!
It wasn't working in internet explorer but when I used Google Chrome the error was gone.
Only log into nprinting web console on chrome, proceed from the certificate error and then you should be able to connect to the nprinting server from your on demand button.
Kind regards,
Robert
I too have the same issue. Neither browser is giving me the expected result. Is there anyone with a definitive solution?
When using Chrome. Did you log into the web console and agreed to continue from the certification error? When I first did this and then tried to generate a report through the on-demand it worked!
I've spoken to my IT-guy who informed me that the error is due to the certificates and that you need to issue a certificate for the servers to be able to "speak" to each other.

if you are using http for the console, you must disable https, please see the help of nprinting
