NPrinting Sort Table

Hello Folks,

If I have a table in NPrinting, is there a way to tell it that it should be sorted by a specific parameter>

There is no out of the box solution. In some templates you can use built in sorting functionality like (sort i excel with macro trigger), but i am agains such solution as it will not always work

How about soprting it in the source (QlikVIew or Qlik Sense)? That is how i sort all my tables in NPrinting

Lech

That's what I was afraid of.  I have no problem sorting in the app, it just seems that it would be kind of brittle should you forget to set the sort again when publishing.

Hi,

Please specify what kind of template are you creating and it would be better if you can share some screenshots. Specify also how are you creating the table and the desired results. There are many ways to create table in different types of report in Qlik NPrinting.

Best Regards,
Ruggero

HI all,

I have a sorting issue between Qlik Sense and Nprinting.

I have an application  with values sorted by Period because I have different calendar types and for one calendar, the year starts in January but for the other one, it stars in septembre.

I managed to display the month name using a variable.

My problem is that I created in my QS app a straight table that I use in Nprinting and no matter the calendar type I am picking Nprinting always displays the month as january, february...

P.S: I am using pixel perfect report even though I don't think it changes anything.

Thanks in advance for the help.
