Hi all,
I'm trying to create a task that the emails destinations will not be the same every single run- i have a QlikView model that creates an object and QVD that contains the relevant emails in each running.
(In addition, i created a "publish task" that saves an excel file with those emails).
Maybe the answer will be to create a group each time or adding this mails to a large group that contains all the emails and filter the relevants.
In addition, i want that the mail itself will be personal for each email destination- for each email i want to send specific details about the user that the mail it his own. The details will be collect from the same QlikView model.
Thanks.
Hi,
You can create a group and add it as destination of the publish task. Then, if you have the details on the .QVW you can create a Qlik NPrinting Excel report to export them in the correct format as explained in https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/May2022/Content/NPrinting/DeployingQVNprinting/Import-Users-Fi.... In the Excel file you can assign the users to the group in the publish task. Then you create a user import task to read the exported users and associate them with filters. When the import user task ended you can run the publish task. There are other conversations here related to this topic.
There is not a way to dynamically add/remove users to a publish task so using the group and inserting/removing users from it is the best solution.
Please, when posting new questions in the community, remember to add the label with the correct version of Qlik NPrinting you are using because the answer could depend on it.

Ruggero
