NPrinting logs timestamp

I have few questions regarding NPrinting June 2020. We just migrated from 16.

  • What log files shows On-Demand generations messages.
  • Why my log file timestamp do not match my time zone.
  • Is there a log utility/dashboard that simplifies log reading?

  • What log files shows On-Demand generations messages. - there are no logs for that, You only get authentication log created when user gets authenticaten when using OnDemand button and this is sitting in WebEngine log
  • Why my log file timestamp do not match my time zone. - what do you call "your time zone"? Log files are created based on the timezone set on NPrinting server. This can be different to what users see in Admin console as individual users may have their own location setup. Do logfiles match the time set on NPrinting server?
  • Is there a log utility/dashboard that simplifies log reading? - no there isn't

Please see below screenshot. It shows server time & log time zone. Webengine shows correct time wheres scheduler log does not.

is it because postgres is configured for UTC timezone? is it ok to change to different time zone?
