the team who manages the server had loaded all the users using an excel template and they had forget to add user userid i.e. domain\userid which lead to login failure

Once all the user details ahd been updated all the impacted users were able to login and work as expectedd

thank you all for your support!

Really appreciated _/\_

Hi,

Be sure you are using an existing and active user then try to refresh the browser cache and cookies and try again. Try also from another browser.

If the suggestions do not work, check the webengine logs.

Best Regards,

Ruggero

@punitpopli is the NP server up and running? All services running?

Try clearing your cache/incognito mode/different browser as well.

Can you share a screenshot?

401 errors are consistent with NPrinting role permission access.
If you are not the NP admin, then I suggest you check with them to ensure your account has not be removed or disabled as an NPrinting user or had your NP roles removed.

Also it is not clear what the steps to reproduce the issue are:

  • Is this an error when accessing the NP web console or executing an API
  • thus is the error found when attempting to reload an QVF or QVW containing API code

Steps to reproduce, snapshots of errors and NP logs would be helpful to troubleshoot further.

Kind regards...

Thanks for sharing the resolution!

Yes adding each user domain account is a critical point to include in your import file when when windows authentication is used to access the NPrinting Web Console.
